In 2023, the Albany District (NY) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, with the support of our Health and Human Services Facet, launched the first edition of our BIPOC Health Care Directory, a comprehensive list of Black, Indigenous, People of Color medical and behavioral health care professionals in the Capital Region.
Communities of color continue to struggle with chronic health disparities. Our chapter is dedicated to breaking down barriers to care — and one of those barriers is historical mistrust of medical professionals. We know that representation matters, and access to providers of color is one way to chip away at those concerns and encourage more regular and timely interactions with the health care system.
We are proud to offer this valuable resource to the community. The 2025 edition of the BIPOC Health Care Directory is set to be published in March. If you are a BIPOC health care professional in the Capital Region and want to be included in our 2025 edition, please complete the form below by January 31, 2025.
If you are a current provider listed in the directory and have any corrections to your entry, please complete the form below or email your updated information to albanydistrictlinks52@gmail.com, subject: 2025 BIPOC directory update.
